Project Description
### **Project Description**
I am seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with a strong background in **IDX/RETS integrations** to repair a broken real-estate listing feed. My site uses **Estatik Pro** and the **Trestle RETS feed**. The setup was previously stable but has recently begun failing.
### **The Problem**
* **Automated Imports Stalled:** The listing import has stopped pulling fresh data.
* **Cron Issues:** Estatik cron jobs are failing or timing out.
* **Server Stability:** The site frequently returns **503 Service Unavailable** errors during scheduled import times, likely due to PHP process exhaustion.
* **Environment:** WordPress site hosted on a **Linux VPS** (Full SSH, cPanel, and log access available).
### **Scope of Work**
1. **Diagnosis:** Identify the root cause of the cron timeouts and the 503 error spikes (e.g., PHP-FPM exhaustion, database locks, or handshake errors).
2. **Cron Repair:** Reconfigure or repair Estatik’s scheduled tasks. (Note: You may transition tasks from WP-Cron to server-level system crons if necessary for stability).
3. **Data Verification:** Ensure the Trestle feed is successfully ingesting and mapping listings without duplicates or data gaps.
4. **Optimization:** Ensure the import process runs reliably without knocking the site offline.
### **Technical Requirements**
* Expert-level **PHP, MySQL, and WordPress** debugging.
* Hands-on experience with **Estatik Pro** and **RETS/IDX** feeds.
* Comfortable working via **SSH/Command Line** and **cPanel**.
* Knowledge of server resource management (Linux/Apache/Nginx).
### **What I Expect in Your Proposal**
Please do not send a generic template. To be considered, please:
* Briefly describe your experience specifically with **Estatik** or **RETS feeds**.
* Provide links to **active sites** where you have implemented or maintained an IDX/Estatik integration.
* Confirm you are comfortable working directly on a Linux VPS via SSH.
