Project Description
I have a set of about 30 AutoCAD DWG drawings of simple wooden wine racks that I now need as full 3D models. Each rack must be rebuilt in Revit and also saved back out as a true 3D DWG so the geometry is usable in both platforms.
Key points you should follow
• Keep every model true to the exact dimensions shown in the original 2D files; accuracy is more important than advanced detailing.
• Basic labeling only—just the rack reference and any principal overall sizes so I can identify each file at a glance.
• No need to add material specs, construction notes, or elaborate annotations.
The attachment is so you can see the scope, the actual files will change a bit.
Deliverables
1. One Revit (.rvt) file per rack.
2. A matching 3D DWG (or equivalent) for each.
Send one finished model early so I can confirm the approach, then complete the remaining files once approved.
