Project Description
The project centres on building a clean, responsive WordPress site whose main purpose is to inform and educate voters about our campaign. Content will highlight the candidate’s biography, policy positions, news updates, and upcoming events, all organised so visitors can quickly understand what we stand for and how to get involved.
Key functional notes
• Donations will be handled through a simple ActBlue link or embedded button rather than a full-scale e-commerce module.
• I need the back-end configured so my team can add or edit pages, blog posts, and event listings without touching code.
• Mobile friendliness, fast loading times, and basic on-page SEO are required; accessibility standards (WCAG-aligned headings, alt text, colour contrast) should be respected by default.
Deliverables
– WordPress theme installation and customisation to match our campaign branding
– Core pages: Home, About, Issues, Events/News (blog style), Volunteer, Donate (ActBlue), Contact
– Contact form with reCAPTCHA, social media links, and a footer that carries the standard campaign disclaimer
– One-page hand-off guide or brief screen-share walkthrough showing my staff how to update content
