Project Description
I have two personal and one partnership tax returns that are already prepared and filed; what I now need is a formal Accountant’s Certificate of Confirmation to verify the figures. To satisfy the end-recipient, the certificate must be signed by a practitioner who is currently regulated by a recognised UK supervisory body or by the Institute of Financial Accountants. Whether your membership is with ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, IFA or another body named in HMRC’s recognised list, please confirm your status when you reply and be ready to include your membership number on the certificate.
Scope of work
• Review the submitted returns (I will supply the PDFs and HMRC acknowledgements).
• Issue a short certificate on your firm’s letterhead confirming that, based on the information supplied, the returns have been completed in accordance with prevailing UK tax legislation.
• Send the signed certificate back to me in both PDF and an original scan.
Acceptance criteria
The certificate must carry your full name, membership number, supervisory body, practice address, and signature; it should clearly reference the tax years involved and state that no amendments are pending.
Everything else—layout, wording, and any additional disclaimers—can follow your usual professional format as long as it meets the above points. Turnaround within two working days would be ideal, but let me know if you need longer.
