Mobile App Development iPhone Objective C Swift Git iOS Development CocoaPods Xcode
My universal iPhone/iPad title, wordtube2, is live on the App Store and I want to keep it running smoothly through every iOS release. Whenever a bug surfaces or Apple introduces breaking changes, I’ll reach out for a quick turn-around build, submit-ready in Xcode, along with a concise change log. Updates will be strictly on-demand—there’s no fixed monthly sprint—so I need someone comfortable dropping in, diagnosing, and shipping a fix with minimal lead time. Core tasks you’ll handle • Identify and resolve crashes or logic defects reported through TestFlight and user feedback • Update deployment targets, frameworks, and entitlements to match new iOS versions • Re-compile and archive the app for App Store Connect, including any provisioning-profile tweaks • Occasionally prototype and implement enhancements I request (could be UI refinements, a fresh feature, or integrating a third-party SDK) Tech stack The codebase is primarily Swift with a small Objective-C wrapper. It relies on AVFoundation and a lightweight Core Data layer, so familiarity with those APIs, CocoaPods/SPM, Git, and the standard App Store submission flow is essential. Acceptance for each on-demand engagement 1. Build installs cleanly on the latest Xcode without warnings 2. All existing functionality works on current iOS and the previous major version 3. App Store Connect metadata updated only if the fix requires it 4. Brief markdown report outlining the change, files touched, and verification steps If that cadence suits you and you’re comfortable jumping in whenever Apple shakes things up, let’s talk.
