Project Description
My current RPsignage deployment runs on Linux and I want to extend it with two purpose-built modules.
Housing-Society Visitor Entry
This add-on must let gate staff start a video call to the resident, wait for an accept/reject decision, register the visitor’s IN and OUT times, and push immediate notifications to the flat owner or tenant. The flow has to feel seamless on both the kiosk screen and the resident’s phone or browser.
Salon & Doctor Appointment Booking
Through a separate sub-domain, customers should be able to reserve a slot, see a live queue number, and watch the average wait time update in real-time on the web page until they are called in. The back-office view should let staff open/close slots, mark patients or clients as served, and analyse traffic trends.
Key deliverables
• Production-ready Visitor Entry module with
– two-way video calling,
– automatic entry/exit logging,
– instant resident notifications.
• Web-based booking system with live queue tracking and status dashboard.
• Clean UI that matches existing RPsignage branding.
• Source code, deployment scripts, and brief hand-over documentation tested on my Linux server.
A short demo on my staging box will serve as acceptance, followed by hand-over of the codebase and instructions.
