I’m sitting on a growing stack of daily Excel files coming in from several warehouses and I need those numbers to finally speak for themselves. The goal is a live monitoring dashboard that I can embed on our SharePoint site so every warehouse manager can see, at a glance, how inbound, storage, and outbound flows are performing. Source data • Multiple .xlsx workbooks generated each day at different sites • Consistent structure (date, SKU, quantity, movement type) but stored in separate folders Must-have visuals • Line charts for trends over time • Bar charts for quick comparisons between sites or product groups • Pie charts for proportional views • A sortable table for drilling down to the raw figures Key metrics to surface Inbound goods, stored goods, outbound goods, overall KPIs, throughput performance, and roll-ups at weekly, monthly, and month-to-date levels. Technical expectations The dashboard should update automatically when new files land in the shared folder and stay fully interactive once published on SharePoint. I’m open to the platform you choose—Power BI, Excel Online with Power Pivot, or another tool—as long as: 1. Data refresh runs without manual intervention. 2. Warehouse managers (primary users) can filter by site, date range, and SKU. 3. The SharePoint-embedded view keeps all interactivity. Deliverables • Data connection & refresh setup (multi-site Excel sources) • Complete interactive dashboard meeting the visual and metric requirements • Deployment guide so I can repoint sources or add new sites later • Brief handoff call / screen share to walk through the solution If this sounds straightforward for you and you have experience publishing live dashboards to SharePoint, let’s talk timelines and any clarifications you need.
