Project Description
I am writing on behalf of Giselle Bru, CEO of PassPro, a specialist second citizenship advisory firm with seventeen years of practice advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth principals on citizenship-by-investment. Giselle is pursuing a non-fiction book targeted at an HNWI readership — entrepreneurs, multi-jurisdictional families, and sophisticated investors for whom international mobility, citizenship strategy, and personal security are active professional concerns.
We are in the early stages of identifying a ghostwriter or senior editor with the right combination of subject-matter fluency, discretion, and experience working with busy C-suite principals. I am reaching out to explore whether this project aligns with your practice.
To allow us to assess fit, I would be grateful if you could address the following in your reply:
1. Relevant experience. Have you ghostwritten or edited non-fiction books for senior business principals or a comparable HNWI audience? Please share two or three relevant samples or references. We understand ghostwritten work may require NDA confirmation before sharing — that is entirely acceptable.
2. Subject-matter familiarity. Do you have prior experience working on manuscripts that cross legal, financial, or regulatory subject matter, where precision of language and defensibility of claims were a material concern?
3. Working process. How do you typically extract material from a principal with limited availability? What does your interview or content-gathering process look like, and how much time does it realistically require from the author?
4. Confidentiality. Are you willing to operate under full confidentiality — including a mutual NDA prior to any material being shared — with sole authorship credit retained by the principal?
5. Availability and timeline. What is your current availability and earliest start date? What would be a realistic timeline to completed manuscript, given the subject complexity?
6. Fee structure. What is your preferred fee model — flat project fee, phased milestones, or another arrangement?
If your written response indicates a strong fit, we would suggest a 30-minute introductory call with a member of our team as a next step.
We look forward to hearing from you.
