Project Description
Project Description
We are looking for a skilled video editor or video production team to create a polished 3-minute investor-facing hero video for Kidaro, a consumer app that helps parents better understand how their child learns through a Learning Profile.
This video will be used primarily with investors and secondarily on LinkedIn. The goal is not to create a generic promo video or basic product walkthrough. We need someone who can take existing interview and product footage and shape it into a clear, emotionally grounded, premium story.
The final video should feel:
Cinematic
Warm
Human
Premium
Documentary-style
Investor-ready
Clear and concise
Emotionally engaging without feeling overly dramatic
We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, product positioning, captions, subtle motion graphics, and clean visual polish.
About the Project
We have approximately 15 minutes of existing footage, including:
Parent interview footage
Child interview footage
Learning Profile / product overview footage
Parent and child B-roll reviewing the Learning Profile
The final video should be cut into a 3-minute hero video that tells a strong story around the parent problem Kidaro is solving.
The strongest material is likely the Learning Profile overview, but the final edit should not feel like a product demo only. It should combine the emotional parent/child angle with the product’s value in a way that makes sense for investors.
Narrative Direction
The video should follow a rough story arc like this:
1. Cold Open: The Parent Tension
Open with a real, quiet, emotionally grounded moment.
The central idea:
Every parent knows their child learns differently. Almost no parent has ever been told how.
This should immediately create tension and curiosity.
2. The Problem
Use parent or child interview footage to show the gap between what parents sense and what they actually know about how their child learns.
The video should make the viewer understand:
Parents often know something is going on
School feedback can be incomplete
Parents are left guessing
Kidaro helps answer that gap in a clearer way
3. The Learning Profile
Introduce the Kidaro Learning Profile as the core product idea.
This section should show the product in a clean, premium way, with subtle UI treatment and selective on-screen text.
The Learning Profile should be positioned as a practical, non-clinical way to help parents understand learning patterns.
Possible dimensions to highlight, depending on footage:
Working Memory
Attention
Sensory Preferences
Emotional Comfort
Motivation and Frustration Tolerance
Self-Awareness
4. The Reaction
If the footage supports it, include a natural parent/child reaction moment while reviewing the Learning Profile.
This should feel real, not staged or forced.
5. The Vision
Close with Kidaro’s broader vision and a clean end card.
The video should end with a strong but restrained investor-facing feeling: Kidaro is not just a tool, but the beginning of a larger personalized learning platform.
Important Brand Rules
Please follow these carefully:
The product output should always be called the Learning Profile
Do not call it a diagnosis, assessment, report card, label, or verdict
Kidaro is non-clinical and educational
Do not imply diagnosis, treatment, or medical evaluation
The tone should be human and practical, not clinical
Avoid overly corporate or generic edtech language
Avoid stock-video gloss
Avoid excessive effects or distracting transitions
Logo should appear at the end only, not as an opening title card

Clean version with separate SRT caption file
Captioned version with burned-in subtitles for LinkedIn autoplay
Optional / Secondary Deliverable
9:16 vertical version for social, if production time and budget allow

Please confirm if you can provide:
H.264 web-ready file
ProRes 422 HQ master, if possible
Separate SRT caption file
Burned-in caption version
Licensed music
Warm, natural color grade
Voiceover Direction
The first version may use an AI-generated voiceover as a placeholder or v1 delivery.
Voice direction:
Male
Mid-tone
Warm and measured
Documentary style
Not corporate
Not overly promotional
Slow, deliberate pace
Slight European inflection preferred if available
The founder’s voice may replace the AI voice later, so the edit should be easy to swap once final voiceover is recorded.
Style References / Creative Direction
The ideal video should feel closer to a short documentary-style startup film than an ad.
We are looking for:
Strong narrative edit
Emotional but restrained pacing
Clean captions
Subtle motion graphics
Product UI moments that feel premium
Warm color grade
Minimal but thoughtful typography
Licensed music that supports the story without overwhelming it
Please avoid:
Loud YouTube-style editing

Heavy stock footage
Corporate explainer-video style
Overly animated SaaS demo style
