**Hiring: Senior C# / .NET Engineer (Contract | Remote)** **Client:** Atzean Technology **Budget:** ₹50,000 – ₹60,000/month **Duration:** 2 Years (Long-term Contract) **Experience Required:** 6–8 Years **Shift:** Flexible (mostly evening overlap required) **Interview Process:** 3 Rounds --- ### **Role Overview** We are hiring experienced Senior C# / .NET Engineers to work on a real enterprise-grade .NET ecosystem involving both modern .NET and legacy .NET Framework systems. This role requires strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and experience working with ambiguous requirements while maintaining production stability and delivering scalable solutions. --- ### **Key Responsibilities** * Work across modern .NET (6/7/8+) and legacy .NET Framework systems * Design and build scalable APIs (REST / gRPC) with proper versioning and error handling * Lead modernization efforts (WCF → gRPC, .NET Framework → modern .NET, on-prem → cloud) * Debug and resolve production issues using logs, traces, and profiling tools * Work in cross-platform environments (Windows & Linux) * Write clean, testable code with proper unit and integration testing * Collaborate with teams and contribute to design and architecture decisions --- ### **Required Skills** * Strong experience in C# and .NET (modern + legacy) * Hands-on experience with API design (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI) * Experience with debugging production issues and performance tuning * Experience working with both Windows (IIS, Services) and Linux (Docker, Kubernetes) * Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability * Experience in modernization projects and legacy system handling --- ### **Good to Have** * Event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) * Cloud experience (Azure / AWS) * Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) * Experience operating large-scale production systems --- ### **Ideal Candidate** * Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset * Comfortable working with legacy systems and modernizing them * Able to handle ambiguous requirements and deliver solutions independently * Good communication and documentation skills --- ### **Important Note** * This is a contract/freelance role (PF benefits are not applicable) * Please share your updated resume directly here on Upwork * Ensure your resume is aligned with the job description to avoid screening rejection 9029733606 --- Only Indian Candidate If your experience matches the above requirements, feel free to apply.
