Project Description
I’m looking for a developer (or team) who can deliver a polished mobile application that keeps our college community connected on both Android and iOS. The app must cover the full spectrum of day-to-day academic life while remaining fast, intuitive, and easy on the eyes.
Core modules and functions
• Secure student registration and login
• Comprehensive college section with detailed data: history, departments, faculty bios, research opportunities, and ongoing announcements
• Role-based content management for Admin, Faculty, and Students
• Course and subject listings tied to individual user profiles
• Faculty directory with photos, qualifications, and contact options
• Student profile dashboard with attendance tracking and grade/assignment snapshots
• File centre for assignment & notes upload or download (common formats: PDF, DOCX, PPT)
• Real-time event and notice board with push notifications
• In-app feedback system for quick issue reporting or suggestions
• Clean, responsive UI that renders smoothly on mid-range devices
Technical expectations
– Cross-platform build targeting Android (latest SDK) and iOS (latest Xcode guidelines)
– Complete front-end and back-end development, plus database integration (relational or NoSQL—open to your recommendation)
– Well-commented source code handed over through a private repo
– User, developer, and deployment documentation in Word format
– Input/output screenshots that demonstrate each feature
– Rigorous testing with identified bugs fixed before final submission
Timeline & cost
Kindly include a realistic delivery schedule (with milestone breakdown) and your estimated cost when you reply. An affordable approach is important, but reliability and quality come first.
When you respond
1. Briefly outline similar education or community apps you’ve launched.
2. State the technology stack you plan to use (e.g., Flutter + Firebase, React Native + Node + MongoDB, Kotlin/Swift natively, etc.).
3. Confirm you can meet the documentation, testing, and hand-over requirements.
4. Provide a clear delivery date and any phased release ideas you suggest.
I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit and will be available for quick feedback throughout the build.
