Project Description
Our organisation is moving onto Microsoft Dynamics 365 and I need the entire environment planned, configured, and brought live. The rollout covers three core areas—financial accounting & bookkeeping, full-featured CRM, and enhanced management reporting—so the build must span Dynamics 365 Finance, Sales, and the reporting stack (Power BI or the native analytics workspace).
Scope
I will supply current chart-of-accounts structures, customer data, and sample reports. Your job is to design the solution architecture, set up companies, fiscal calendars, security roles, workflows, and any necessary extensions; migrate the opening balances and customer records; create or refit the key financial statements and sales dashboards; then walk our team through day-to-day use.
Key deliverables
• Configured Dynamics 365 tenant (Finance, Sales, Reporting) ready for production
• Data migration scripts/runbooks with one successful test migration and a signed-off final cutover
• User acceptance testing sign-off and concise training materials (quick-reference PDFs or short screen-share videos)
Acceptance criteria
1. Transactions, customers, and dimensions reconcile 100 % with legacy figures after migration.
2. All posted entries flow through to the new reports without manual adjustments.
3. Users in Finance and Sales roles can complete a full transaction cycle unaided.
No legacy or external systems need integrating right now, so the build can stay self-contained inside the Microsoft cloud.
Timeline is flexible, yet I would like a realistic phased plan with milestones for sandbox, UAT, and go-live. Let me know your experience with similar greenfield Dynamics 365 projects and the toolset you rely on for data migration, testing, and reporting.
