I’m looking for an experienced app developer to build a simple, clean video editing app focused on one specific job:
Taking raw talking-head videos (Instagram Reels, short-form content, talking videos) and automatically removing dead space, pauses, and silence between sentences.
The goal is speed and simplicity, not a full video editor.
Core Functionality
Main Feature:
User uploads a raw talking video
The app automatically detects:
Silence
Long pauses
Dead space between sentences
Unnecessary gaps in speech
The app then:
Cuts those sections automatically
Creates a tighter, faster-paced final video
