Project Description
I sell digital products and every transaction must be divided on the spot between anywhere from three to ten collaborators, much like DistroKid’s royalty splits. I need a concrete solution—either an off-the-shelf service or a lightweight custom build—that can:
• Process digital sales in several currencies without manual conversion
• Send each partner’s cut immediately through PayPal, credit/debit card settlement or direct bank transfer
• Let me set or update split percentages per product, while keeping a clear audit trail for monthly reporting and tax purposes
Your job begins with identifying the most reliable platform (Stripe Connect, LemonSqueezy, Tipalti, Paypal, Affiliate program etc. are all fair game) and explaining why it fits the criteria above. From there I want a concise implementation roadmap: account setup steps, API or plug-in requirements, and a timeline for going live.
Acceptance will be based on:
1. A written comparison of at least two viable platforms, highlighting fee structures, multicurrency support and payout flexibility.
2. A step-by-step guide (or demo code) that proves automatic, real-time revenue splits to three different test payees using PayPal, a Visa card and a bank transfer.
3. Clear notes on ongoing maintenance and any regional compliance considerations.
