Project Description
I’m developing a university project that centres on an architectural model built entirely in Rhino + Grasshopper, and I need a well-structured parametric definition for the building façade. The goal is to let me explore variations—panel sizes, perforation patterns, shading depth, and overall form—simply by sliding a few Grasshopper parameters, so I can generate clear study diagrams and final production geometry for rendering and 3-D printing.
You would start with the base massing I supply (Rhino *.3dm), build the façade logic in Grasshopper, and keep the node graph clean and annotated so I can learn from it. Please rely on native components wherever possible; plug-ins such as LunchBox or Pufferfish are fine if they really streamline the workflow.
Deliverables
• Grasshopper *.gh file with fully parametric façade
• A brief PDF explaining each main parameter and how to bake the output back to Rhino
• Two or three screenshot examples showing different façade iterations
Acceptance criteria
The definition must update live without errors, respect the original building footprint, and export watertight meshes or polysurfaces ready for STL/OBJ export.
If you have questions about constraints or façade inspirations, let me know early so we can lock them in before you proceed.
