Project Description
I have raw sales data coming in daily, and I need it transformed into clear, interactive Power BI dashboards that let me track performance at three levels—daily, monthly, and quarterly—without having to wrestle with spreadsheets.
Scope of analysis
• Sales volume trends so I can spot spikes or drops immediately.
• Product-level insights that rank best- and worst-performing items at a glance.
• Regional comparisons to show which areas are driving revenue and which need attention.
.Sales person wise product and product category wise and product wise sales
Preferred visuals
Bar charts, line graphs, and pie charts work best for my team, so the finished reports should lean on those, switching automatically when I filter dates, products, or regions.
Deliverables
• A Power BI (.pbix) file with a clean data model, DAX measures, and slicers for date, product, and region.
• At least three interactive report pages: Overview (daily), Monthly & Quarterly Trends, and Product-Region Matrix.
• Guidance on refreshing the dataset (Power Query steps documented) so the visuals stay current.
Acceptance criteria
The dashboard must load in under five seconds, all figures must reconcile with my source files, and each visual should support drill-through to transaction-level detail.
Data will be supplied in Excel; Looking forward to seeing how you can turn these numbers into insights.
