I’m embarking on a full refresh of our AutoCAD environment so every drawing that leaves the office looks and feels unmistakably Qubix. The main driver is consistent documentation, yet I still expect the refresh to lift readability and reinforce the brand along the way. Scope of work • Redesign the title block in CAD, embedding our logo and corporate colour palette while keeping the layout clean and print-ready. • Standardise lineweights and create an STB plot style that prints identically on any device. • Upgrade all default typography (text styles, dimensions, leaders) so type hierarchies are clear and legible at multiple scales. • Rationalise hatch patterns—eliminate clutter, apply logical layer naming, and document which hatches are used for what. • Supply template sheets in common paper sizes and orientations, already wired to the new title block and plotting system. • Build a reusable symbol & legend library, organised on layers that match the new standards. • Deliver a concise “Qubix CAD Standards” guide (PDF) that explains layers, colours, linetypes, text styles, plotting, and file-naming conventions. Acceptance criteria 1. Opening any template should load with zero proxy or missing font warnings. 2. STB file must print the same on at least two different printers/plotters in my office. 3. A sample multi-sheet set—supplied by you—passes an internal peer review for consistency against the PDF standard. What I’d like to see in your bid Highlight relevant experience rolling out CAD standards or large-scale title-block upgrades. Links or screenshots of previous templates, plotting styles, or standards manuals are perfect. Tools on our side are AutoCAD 2024 and AutoCAD LT 2023; please confirm compatibility if you’re on a different version. I’ll be available for quick turnaround feedback and aim to approve each milestone rapidly so we can lock the new system in place without disrupting ongoing projects.
