Project Description
I need a custom-built platform where I can manually enter every options trade I place and instantly see how those entries flow into an easy-to-read dashboard. After logging a trade, the system should automatically refresh the analytics so I can view my Daily, Monthly, and Yearly P&L without running any extra reports.
Alongside profits and losses, the dashboard has to break out my Brokerage fees, Taxes, and any other Miscellaneous costs I tag, then roll them up into net figures. Visual summaries—simple line graphs or bar charts—will help me spot trends at a glance, while a table view should let me drill down to each individual trade if I need to audit the numbers.
For storage and speed, I am open to your recommended tech stack; the interface just needs to be clean, responsive, and secure. If you have experience with spreadsheet imports, SQL or NoSQL back ends, and data-viz libraries such as Chart.js or Plotly, please mention it, but I’m flexible as long as the end product is intuitive and accurate.
Deliverables
• A web-based (or desktop) application that lets me manually add, edit, or delete options trades
• Real-time dashboard showing Daily, Monthly, and Yearly P&L plus net figures after Brokerage fees, Taxes, and Miscellaneous costs
• Export capability (CSV or XLSX) for all raw and aggregated data
• Brief hand-off guide or video so I can maintain the platform myself going forward
If the first build works smoothly, I’d like to keep refining the analytics—think win-rate by strategy or implied/realized volatility comparison—so solid, well-documented code is important.
