I need a specialist who can walk me through the full process of securing a Meta-approved WhatsApp Business API key and making it work inside my Odoo 19 environment. My goal is to trigger order-related confirmations and shipping updates automatically from Odoo, so the integration must be seamless and reliable.
What I already have
• A running Odoo 19 SH instance with sales and inventory apps active
• A verified Facebook Business account - here you would need to check the settings so that we can get the API Key
What I need from you
1. Guide me (or handle on my behalf) through Meta’s Cloud API onboarding so the phone number is approved and the permanent API key is generated.
2. Configure Odoo so it can authenticate with that key, send test messages, and log delivery results.
3. Map the workflow for sending order confirmations and subsequent status updates, using native Odoo automation where possible.
4. Provide a short handover document or video that shows how to rotate the key, add new templates, and troubleshoot common issues.
Acceptance criteria
• API key is active and visible in Meta for Developers dashboard.
• A test sales order in Odoo immediately triggers a WhatsApp message to the customer.
• Message logs (success/failure) appear in Odoo chatter.
• All setup steps are documented so I can repeat them for future numbers.
If you have handled Meta Cloud API integrations for earlier Odoo versions such as 13, 14, or 15 you will feel right at home—the core flow is similar, but I need the specifics aligned with version 19.
