Project Description
I’m ready to move one of our production processes onto a fully automated platform and need an experienced PLC specialist to make it happen. This is an industrial environment, so reliability, clear documentation, and compliance with plant standards are non-negotiable.
You’ll start by reviewing the existing manual workflow with me, then design a PLC-based control strategy that keeps safety interlocks front and centre while maximising cycle time. Once we agree on the architecture, I’ll rely on you for ladder (or structured-text) programming, selection of field I/O, panel layout guidance, and all supporting wiring diagrams. If you’re comfortable integrating HMIs or tying the PLC into our existing SCADA via Modbus or EtherNet/IP, even better—the goal is a seamless line we can monitor and tweak without downtime.
Deliverables I need from you
• Control philosophy document and I/O list
• PLC project file with well-commented code
• Electrical schematics ready for panel build
• Commissioning plan plus remote start-up support
• Final run report confirming all safety and performance checks
I’ll provide full process details, P&IDs, and access to our electrical drawings once we kick off. Let me know which PLC families you work with most (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.), any relevant certifications, and examples of similar industrial automation you’ve delivered.
