Project Description
I am seeking an experienced product designer, business analyst, UX designer or software architect to help design a legally distinct healthcare workforce rostering web application.
The product will support healthcare departments to create draft rosters based on staff availability, leave, skill mix, department requirements, hard rules, soft rules, wage rates and shift penalties. The long-term goal is to include AI-assisted roster generation, cost optimisation, gap filling and future theatre scheduling functionality.
This project is not to copy another company’s code, branding, design, database or proprietary material. The product must be original, legally distinct and designed from the ground up.
For this first stage, I do not need a fully working application. I need a clear product specification and clickable prototype that can be used to raise funds, seek grants, obtain pilot partners and prepare for the MVP build.

Important requirements
The successful freelancer must:
Use original design and original work only
Not copy Equina or any other competitor’s code, design, branding or proprietary features
Use dummy/de-identified data only
Provide editable source files
Provide all Figma/source/design files at handover
Sign an NDA if requested
Agree that all intellectual property created for this project is owned by me after payment
Communicate clearly in English
Be available for milestone reviews

Milestones will only be released once the agreed deliverable has been reviewed and accepted. A milestone being submitted does not mean it is automatically approved. Final payment will only be released once all editable source files, documentation and prototype links have been handed over and verified.
