Hi! I’m looking for a music producer/composer to create upbeat commercial-style dance tracks for a primary school dance curriculum business in Australia.
The music needs to sound modern, exciting, and professional — similar in energy/style to commercial pop dance music used in dance studios, kids dance competitions, TikTok/Just Dance style content, or clean workout/aerobics pop. We want a strong “studio dance class” vibe while still being school-appropriate for children aged approximately 5–12.
Important:
Original music only (must be fully licensable for commercial educational use)
No copyright issues or samples from existing songs
Instrumental preferred (minimal/simple vocal chops are okay)
Clean, upbeat, positive energy
Strong beat and easy-to-follow rhythm for choreography
Clear 8-count phrasing for dance teaching
Catchy and engaging for kids without sounding childish or cheesy
Style references:
Dua Lipa-style dance pop energy
Funky pop / nu-disco / electro-pop
Just Dance / dance convention / commercial jazz class vibe
Modern aerobics/workout pop
Disney/Nickelodeon dance energy (but more polished/contemporary)
We would love:
2–3 minute tracks
Intro sections suitable for teacher cueing/count-ins
Optional slowed/practice version
Ability to loop/edit sections if needed
Consistent sound across multiple tracks as this may become an ongoing partnership
