Project Description
Looking for an experienced full-stack development team for an ongoing engagement on a healthcare claims and workflow automation platform serving small business clients. We move fast and expect the same from collaborators.
Scope for this month includes:
-Building out a configuration dashboard for per-client rule management
-Backend work on a portal automation engine for claim submission and status tracking
-React frontend work on a rules engine UI used by billing staff
-Parsing and reconciling patient ledgers against carrier responses
-API integrations with third-party EHR and practice management systems
- General bug fixes and stability improvements
Required skills:
- React / Node.js / Python
- Browser automation experience (Playwright or similar)
- Working familiarity with healthcare billing concepts:
- Patient ledgers
- CPT codes
- ICD-10 diagnosis codes
- Standard claim line structure
- Active use of AI coding tools (Claude Code or Codex) — we expect high velocity and modern tooling
- Clean code and good documentation habits
Nice to have:
- MySQL / relational database experience for working with legacy billing data
- Prior experience with EHR or practice management systems
- Exposure to vision care, optometry, or other specialty billing workflows

- Duration: 1 month
- Budget: $7,000 fixed
- Must have availability during US morning hours (Eastern time) for meetings
- Communication via Slack
- Fast iteration cycles — we ship multiple times per week
