Project Description
I need a WordPress developer/agency for an automated football prediction website.
Please read before bidding. I do not want copy/paste AI proposals. If your proposal does not mention relevant previous work, how you would approach this project, and the word “fixture” somewhere in your reply, I will not review it.
Project summary:
I already have a WordPress football prediction website, domain, hosting, logo, and an existing sports/prediction plugin. The current plugin requires matches/predictions to be added manually. I want to automate this and improve the site design.
This is NOT a Laravel project. This is NOT a full ML model project. I want a simpler WordPress automation MVP.
Main goals:
* Keep the site in WordPress (if that's what recommended)
* Improve the design so it looks more like BetMines, Forebet, Oddspedia style football prediction/data sites
* Extend or replace the existing sports plugin so matches do not need to be uploaded manually
* Use API-Football for fixtures, teams, leagues, results, match data, standings, H2H, lineups, statistics and widgets etc..
* Create automated match pages, league pages, country pages and possibly team pages
* Add our own main match prediction card at the top of match pages
* Use API-Football widgets below the main content for standings, H2H, stats, lineups and league tables
* Use AI to generate match reasoning/prediction explanation from the available data
* Store/cache API data and AI-generated text so API/AI is not called on every page view
* Make the main SEO content visible in HTML, not only inside JavaScript widgets
Important technical requirements:
* No API call on every page view
* No AI call on every page view
* Use caching or store data in WordPress
* Main prediction, match title, reasoning, breadcrumbs and related links must be visible in HTML
* Widgets can be used as supporting sections, but not as the only content
* API-Football prediction endpoint can be used as a raw signal, but not blindly trusted
* Add basic rules around predictions, for example: weak/tied prediction = low confidence, missing odds = no value claim, unsupported market = do not invent it
* AI should explain the prediction from stored data, not invent odds, probabilities or confidence
* Avoid fake claims like guaranteed wins, 100% accuracy, sure bets, etc.
Example match page structure:
* Breadcrumbs: Country > League > Match
* Match title, for example: Real Betis vs Elche Prediction
* League, country, kickoff time
* Stadium, referee, weather if available
* Main prediction card
* Confidence/risk label
* Odds if available
* AI-generated reasoning
* Related matches
* API-Football widgets for standings, H2H, lineups, stats, etc.
Automation needed:
* Import today/tomorrow fixtures (and maybe fixtures for the rest of the week ahead ..
* Create/update match pages automatically
* Attach league/country/team relationships
* Fetch prediction data
* Generate AI reasoning once and save it
* Update results after matches
* Keep pages updated without manual match entry
I may also use this setup later on multiple football websites if the first site works well, so the solution should be reusable and not hardcoded only for one page.

1. Have you built WordPress plugins or WordPress automation before? Share examples.
2. Have you worked with API-Football or similar sports APIs? Share examples.
3. Can you inspect my existing sports plugin and tell me whether it can be extended instead of rebuilt?
4. How would you avoid API/AI calls on every page view?
5. How would you make the pages SEO-friendly and ensure main content is visible in HTML?
6. What would you build first?
7. Rough cost and timeline for a simple first version.
