Project Description
I have a GoHighLevel account that needs deeper, code-level adjustments so it can talk seamlessly with my own community system, which I use as a CRM. The native “Integrations” module won’t cover what I want, so I’m after a developer who can dive into the GHL API, webhooks and any necessary middleware to build a reliable two-way sync—contacts, tags, pipeline stages, notes and basic custom fields.
The work is limited to the Integrations portion only; no changes to Dashboards or Automations are required right now. Although premade connectors exist for Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho CRM, my goal is to replicate that same smooth experience for my proprietary platform.
What I expect from you
• Map out the data flow between GoHighLevel and my community system, highlighting endpoints, required tokens and rate-limit considerations.
• Develop the integration (likely REST/JSON; open to your preferred stack) and deploy it in a way that survives GHL updates.
• Provide concise setup documentation plus short Loom-style walkthroughs so my team can maintain or extend the sync later.
• Test thoroughly—new record creation, updates, deletes and error handling—until both apps remain in perfect alignment.
Acceptance criteria
1. A contact created or updated in either system appears in the other within one minute.
2. Tag changes propagate bidirectionally without duplication.
3. No data loss or field mismatch across at least 500 live records during stress testing.
4. Clear hand-off docs and commented code committed to my private repo.
If this sounds straightforward for your skill set with GoHighLevel’s developer tools, let’s get moving.
