Project Description
I want to give followers of Sri Karthikeya Peeta a clean, uncluttered mobile experience that works identically on iOS and Android. The core of the app is a “Thought of the Day” feed, a notice board for Peeta events and announcements, and a reply area where users can add brief comments or questions beneath each post. Everything must remain intuitive enough for elderly devotees while still feeling modern for younger users.
Access will be handled through a simple email-and-password login; no social or complex authentication layers are necessary. Once inside, users should automatically receive push notifications whenever a new daily message or announcement goes live. Tapping a notification should take them straight to the relevant post.
A lightweight, cross-platform stack such as Flutter or React Native is fine, provided the final builds run smoothly on current iOS and Android versions and pass their respective store requirements. The user interface should follow platform conventions so the experience feels native on both.
Deliverables
• Source code with clear comments and a README that explains build and deployment steps
• Two signed release builds ready for App Store and Play Store submission
• Simple backend (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) to store posts, comments, and user accounts
• Basic admin panel or script so I can upload the daily thought and announcements without touching the code
• One test round on TestFlight / internal Play Store track showing push notifications and comment flow working end-to-end
I will provide brand colors, logo assets, and the first set of daily messages once development begins.
