Mobile App for Wearable Safety Device (iOS & Android)
I am developing a wearable safety device called NeoLifeGuard for hazardous work environments (construction, industrial sites). I need a mobile app that connects via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to our device. The app’s main purpose is to receive real-time alerts, track user location, and display team status.
Core Requirements:
1. BLE Connectivity:
* Connect to NeoLifeGuard devices (multiple users).
* Receive emergency alerts from devices.
* Receive device ID and location data.
2. Real-Time Alert Display:
* Show which user activated an alert.
* Show current location of the user.
* Support group notifications for teams.
3. Simple UI:
* Minimalist, easy to read interface.
* List of all team members and their status (safe / alert).
4. Optional Features:
* Firmware update notifications (if device supports it).
* Acknowledge false alarms from app.
Platforms:
* iOS and Android.
Deliverables:
* Fully functional mobile app connecting to NeoLifeGuard via BLE.
* Clean, maintainable code.
* Documentation on app-device communication for future updates.
Budget:
* Open to proposals, prefer straightforward apps without unnecessary complexity.
Timeline:
* Prefer prototype/demo as soon as possible.
