We are currently looking for India based an experienced Textile/Fabric Consultant to help finalize the ideal fabrics for our scrubwear categories.
Scope of Work:
Fabric Finalization Recommend suitable fabric compositions for: • Premium scrub range • Mid-range scrub range • Knit-based comfort/sustainable range
Technical Fabric Guidance Provide recommendations regarding: • Fiber composition • GSM • Knit vs woven suitability • Stretch and recovery • Breathability • Moisture management • Opacity/transparency control • Durability • Wrinkle resistance • Color fastness • Shrinkage behavior • Softness/hand feel • Industrial wash performance • Pilling resistance • Suitability for Indian climate and hospital use
Functional Performance Fabric recommendations should support: • 12–36 hour shifts • Frequent movement • Multiple utility pockets • Repeated washing • Comfort in hot and humid environments • Professional drape and structure
Sustainability Guidance For selected categories, recommend suitable recycled polyester (rPET) or sustainable fabric options without compromising durability or appearance.
Vendor & Sourcing Support Preferred if consultant can: • Suggest reliable Indian fabric mills/vendors • Help evaluate fabric swatches • Recommend finishing treatments/coatings • Support sample development stage
Testing & Evaluation Assist in: • Fabric comparison • Sample evaluation • Wash test recommendations • Wear-test feedback interpretation
Preferred Experience: • Technical textiles/apparel fabrics • Performance apparel • Activewear/workwear/uniforms • Medical apparel or scrubwear experience preferred • Understanding of garment manufacturing processes
