Project Description
I’m preparing a low-to-medium volume line for an electrical box build that includes cable kits, mechanical assembly, wire installation and a final functional test. What I need most right now is a solid PFMEA, with particular attention on assessing risks, scoring them realistically and setting clear priorities for mitigation. My current risk data is limited, so I’ll rely on your expertise to turn those early observations into a rigorous analysis.
Alongside the PFMEA, I also want a high-level process flow and a straightforward floor layout that supports lean principles and a smooth material path. You’ll have full access to the BOM, assembly drawings, photos and reference packs from similar products so you can hit the ground running from day one.
Deliverables
• Process flow diagram that traces each operation through to test and pack-out
• PFMEA spreadsheet/document listing failure modes, severity/occurrence/detection rankings, RPN calculations and recommended controls
• Simple but scale-accurate production floor/layout plan showing stations, work sequence and key material moves
