Project Description
I’m ready to centralise every part of my construction business in one purpose-built ERP. The system has to cover our day-to-day site work, back-office finance and everything in between, so stability and ease of use across job sites are non-negotiable.
Core scope
• Inventory Management – real-time material tracking, purchase ordering, warehouse transfers and low-stock alerts.
• Project Management – job scheduling, progress tracking, labour allocation, Gantt or Kanban views and field-level reporting.
• Accounting & Financials – cost codes, invoicing, subcontractor payments, payroll export, and full financial statements.
Access & devices
The application must run smoothly on desktop, mobile and any modern browser so supervisors can log updates in the field while office staff work from larger screens. A consistent UI/UX across platforms is important.
Integration
This will be a stand-alone system for now; no links to an existing CRM or accounting package are required in the first phase, which should streamline development.
Deliverables & acceptance criteria
• Source code, database schema and developer-level documentation.
• End-user manuals and a short video walkthrough for onboarding.
• A staging environment for UAT and a production deployment plan.
The build will be considered complete once the three modules run error-free across all devices, reports export correctly (PDF/Excel) and role-based access control operates as intended.
I’m open on the tech stack as long as it is well-supported, future-proof and allows modular expansion later (e.g., HR, equipment maintenance). Let me know your recommended approach, any similar systems you’ve delivered, and a realistic timeline to first release.
