Project Description
I have a CVT-based Android TV box that needs a complete firmware makeover. The job centres on two pillars:
1. A full UI/UX redesign. Every visible element—boot animation, launcher, settings pages, on-screen navigation, and remote-control focus handling—should feel cohesive, modern, and branded specifically for this device.
2. Pre-installation of a curated suite of gaming apps. These titles must launch without first-run errors, conform to Android TV controller schemes, and remain immune to Play Protect flags. If system-level tweaks improve performance or loading times, feel free to implement them; however, the headline requirement is getting the games embedded cleanly in the system image.
Deliverables
• Signed, flashable system image (.img) ready for OTA and USB recovery
• Companion change log or patch set tracing every modification
• Short screencast that walks through the new interface and opens each pre-loaded game successfully
I’ll test each beta on physical hardware and provide feedback for at least one revision cycle before sign-off. Familiarity with AOSP, Android TV SDK, CVT device trees, fastboot/recovery workflows, and certificate preservation (Widevine, Netflix) is essential. Let’s create a sleek, gamer-ready firmware that installs effortlessly and looks great on first boot.
