Project Description
I run a grocery shop and want to move the full shopping experience onto my customers’ phones. The end goal is a polished mobile app, published on both iOS and Android, that lets shoppers browse products, place orders, pay, and receive status updates—while still giving them the option to tap a button and confirm everything through WhatsApp or say instead of app integration with Watsapp number.
Core features I need implemented:
• Product catalog – clean category structure, search and filter, high-quality images, price/weight variants.
• Order tracking – real-time status from “received” to “out for delivery” to “delivered”, visible inside the app.
• Payment integration – secure in-app checkout supporting cards and popular local wallets.
• WhatsApp bridge – one-tap hand-off that pre-fills the order summary in WhatsApp so customers can quickly confirm or ask questions.
• SMS notifications – automated texts for order confirmation, status changes, and delivery ETA.
All back-end services (catalog data, stock levels, order management) should sync seamlessly, so when I update an item in my admin panel it reflects in both app stores and the WhatsApp summary without extra steps.
Acceptance criteria
1. Builds submitted to TestFlight and Play Console for review.
2. WhatsApp flow tested on real devices: order → pre-populated message → receipt of confirmation.
3. Payments processed in sandbox and live modes with receipts logged.
4. SMS alerts delivered via my chosen gateway and recorded in logs.
5. Source code, build instructions, and basic admin panel documentation handed over on final milestone.
If you’re comfortable with cross-platform stacks such as Flutter or React Native and have prior experience connecting apps to the official WhatsApp Business API, this project should be straightforward. Let’s get my customers shopping from home in just a few taps.
