Project Description
I run a product-led SaaS company and need a full-stack engineer who can work the same hours I do—9 am – 5 pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. Every feature we ship is built with JavaScript from back to front, so daily work revolves around a Node.js/Express API layer feeding a React web application.
You will own end-to-end development: refining tickets in our Monday morning grooming call, writing clean, well-tested Node services, and pushing pixel-perfect React components that match Figma specs. I deploy through a GitHub-driven CI/CD pipeline to AWS (ECS + RDS). Familiarity with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Jest is helpful, but solid Node.js fundamentals and modern React experience are the non-negotiables.
Success is straightforward. By the end of each two-week sprint you’ll have:
• completed all assigned web application stories,
• opened merge requests with passing tests and code review approval, and
• promoted the build through staging to production without rollback.
