Project Description
I’ve got a single-track WAV file of an interview where the mic let us down: the levels drift, doors slam in the hallway, traffic leaks through, and everything feels muddy. I need the two spoken voices—mine and the interviewer’s—to sit front and center, balanced and intelligible, with the random background sounds stripped away or pushed so far back they’re barely noticeable.
The job is straightforward: isolate and enhance both voices equally, tame those intermittent noises, even out the volume, apply tasteful EQ, light compression, and final mastering so the end result sounds as if we recorded in a treated room. No artefacts, no robotic gating—just natural, polished speech.
Deliverables
• Restored full-resolution WAV (same length as original)
• An optional high-quality MP3 for quick sharing
• Brief note on the processing chain or plugins used (e.g., iZotope RX, Adobe Audition, ReaFIR, etc.) for future reference
Once I send the file, you can let me know if anything else is needed. A quick turnaround would be ideal so I can forward the cleaned interview to my team this week.
