website development - Project requirements
we are a newly established consultation firm, we would like to have the following :
Scope of work and project phases:
1) Review and upgrade the profile content and create the final company theme and corporate and logo design identity.
2) Develop the company website content (English first then, then to be translated to Arabic)
3) Exploring suitable domains and select the approved one.
4) Domain registration in Saudi Arabia and hosting
5) Design landing page specifications including motion graphics, interactive, with Sounds.
6) Adding Emails inbox for 50 users.
7) Develop a mobile version in the website.
8) Final handover om the source code to the owner.
Duration
- The full project duration is 2 – 4 weeks max.
Payment
- 20% after step 2
- 10 % after Step 4
- 70 % after step 8
General conditions
- The web site shall be a new design and not on ready-made templets.
- Scope modification is possible and price will be agreed per the quoted manhours rate or fixed budget as per owner’s direction.
- Bidder shall quote the total effective hours for the project and total cost of the project.
- Bidder shall do the work himself and not on a sub-bidder, and he shall attend the calls and explain all work done.
- Bidder shall obtain owner approval for each step before proceeding.
- Bidder should specify the required time to deliver each step of the project as well as the effective hours to do the job.
- Delivery of all required work specified in the scope of work.
- Bidder should deliver a check list including all required work and specify where it’s delivered, or listing any deviations of alternatives delivered.
- Two or three zoom calls shall be made as part of the delivery project as follows:
o Up to 15 min call at the begging of the project (if required) for owner to explain the requirements and confirm bidder understanding.
o Up to 15 min call at end of each phase to take the approval and proceed in the next phase.
o Up to 30 min call at halfway of the project for contractor to explain the work done, methodology, and obtain owner confirmation to proceed or to take any corrective action might be required.
o Up to 60 min call at the end of the project for contractor to explain all work done in detail and methodology used, and obtain owner confirmation of understanding and acceptance, or to take any corrective action might be required. This call might be made again with any major changes or additional work.
o Calls will be done on Zoom, trams, or google meet.
