Home Design Concept Design Interior Design 2D Drafting Floor Plan Architecture
Hi, I’m looking for conceptual floor plan design support for a future family home project. This is NOT for construction drawings, engineering, approvals, or final architecture. I already plan to work with a local architect later for the final technical design and approvals. At this stage, I mainly want help visualizing the spatial layout and room flow because I struggle to picture the house properly from written specifications alone. What I need: - Simple 2D conceptual floor plans with realistic room dimensions - Ground floor layout - First floor layout - Rooftop layout Main focus areas: - Room placement and relationships - Staircase positioning - Indoor-outdoor flow - Efficient circulation / minimal wasted hallway space - Overall functionality and realistic sizing No structural or construction detailing is required. I already have: - Detailed room requirements/spec sheet - Inspiration/reference images - General design direction The purpose of this exercise is early-stage spatial exploration before engaging the final local architect. Modern minimal family house, ~290–310 sqm total. Main priorities: - Functional layout - Strong indoor-outdoor flow - Natural light - Minimal wasted corridor space - Modern but practical feel Living Room — 28–32 sqm Family Room (First Floor) — 14–16 sqm — more private than main living Outdoor Dining/Patio — 10–14 sqm — connected directly to kitchen Kitchen — 18–21 sqm Pantry — 3–4 sqm Laundry — 5–7 sqm Store/Utility/Solar Room — 4–6 sqm Ground Floor Guest WC — 2.5–3.5 sqm — must have external ventilation Master Bedroom (First Floor) — 20–24 sqm Walk-in Closet — 5–7 sqm Master Bathroom — 6–8 sqm Master Balcony — 4–6 sqm Kids Bedroom 1 (First Floor) — 16–17 sqm + ensuite bathroom Kids Bedroom 2 (First Floor) — 16–17 sqm + ensuite bathroom Guest Bedroom Ensuite — 14–16 sqm + bathroom — preferably ground floor if space allows Office 1 (Ground Floor) — 6–8 sqm Office 2 (First Floor) — 6–8 sqm Gym/Flex Room (Rooftop) — 20–25 sqm Covered Rooftop Seating Area — 8–12 sqm Rooftop WC — 2–3 sqm DSQ + Bathroom — 12–14 sqm total Additional notes: - Outdoor dining should feel like an extension of the kitchen - Open naturally lit staircase preferred - Avoid excessive hallway/corridor waste I will also share inspiration images and detailed specs for reference.
