Project Description
I already have the engineering design for a steel building and now need a Tekla specialist who can convert that information into a fully detailed fabrication package. Every element—columns, beams, bracing, connections, and plates—has to be modeled in Tekla Structures and translated into accurate shop drawings and erection documents that a fabricator can rely on without additional clarification.
What I expect:
• A well-organized Tekla model of the entire structure, using proper naming, phasing, and numbering conventions.
• GA drawings, single-part and assembly drawings & Fabrication drawings, bolt and weld lists, and CNC/NC files where applicable.
• Bill of materials extracted directly from the model, ready for procurement.
• Connection design shown clearly with all necessary dimensions and welding symbols.
• Deliverables submitted in both PDF and native Tekla formats so I can make future revisions if needed.
I will provide the structural plans, load data, and any manufacturer specs you require at the start. Please outline your typical workflow, estimated turnaround, and a few samples of comparable Tekla projects you have completed. Accuracy and clear, uncluttered drawings are critical; I’ll review the first set of PDFs before we finalize numbering and issue the production package.
