Project Description
I am planning to run WooCommerce-based store that specializes in building-material products and I want the front-end to reflect the industry better. The core engine, catalogue, and payment gateway need to be configured; what I need now is a designer-developer who can reshape the look and feel of my current theme.
Scope of work
• Redesign the Homepage so it immediately signals “construction supplies”, highlights bulk-buy promotions, and guides visitors to the main product categories.
• Re-layout all Product Pages to showcase technical specs (dimensions, weight, certifications) in a clear table, add space for large imagery, and keep the “Add to Cart” section above the fold on desktop and mobile.
• Tidy up the Checkout flow so that it’s two steps max, mobile friendly, and visually consistent with the new style.
Technical context
The site runs on WordPress + WooCommerce. You’ll have access to the child theme, so feel free to work with PHP templates, CSS/SCSS, and a little JavaScript or jQuery if necessary. Page builders are disabled—I prefer clean code that keeps performance snappy.
Deliverables
1. Updated child-theme files (PHP, CSS, JS) ready to upload.
2. A brief changelog explaining each template or style you touched.
3. Any custom graphics or icons created for the redesign, provided in SVG/PNG.
I’ll test the updated theme on staging; once everything renders correctly across Chrome, Safari, and Edge and loads under three seconds, we’ll move the changes to live.
