The goal is to receive a full cost estimate alongside a professionally structured proposal that I can present to both executives and potential investors. Here’s what I expect from you: • A bottom-up cost breakdown that covers analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and one year of post-launch support. • A phased timeline (preferably illustrated in MS Project or an equivalent Gantt chart) with key milestones and resource allocations. • Assumptions and risk factors called out explicitly, with suggested mitigation strategies. • A concise executive summary plus a more detailed technical section that outlines architecture, tooling, and staffing requirements for a brand-new desktop application. • Clear justification of each cost line so stakeholders can see how figures were derived. I’m open to Agile or waterfall budgeting techniques as long as the rationale is evident.
