Project Description
The goal is to create a first-person, point-of-view mobile app that lets users explore a typical UK house and interact with key objects. The build needs to run smoothly on both iOS and Android and only requires a basic level of graphical fidelity; simplicity and responsiveness matter more than high-end visuals.
Core interactions
• Doors: tap to open and close, complete with a modest sound cue.
• Lights: toggle on or off, changing the room illumination in real time.
• Cupboards / drawers: open and close with a simple animation.
• Pop-up tips: context-sensitive text bubbles that appear when the user nears an interactive element, offering short hints or safety advice.
Technical expectations
• First-person navigation (standard FPS touch controls or joystick).
• Lightweight 3D assets or low-poly models to keep the install size small and frame rate high.
• A single codebase—Unity, Godot, or another cross-platform framework is fine as long as you deliver both APK and IPA builds plus full source.
• Clean, commented code so I can tweak text, swap textures, or add new objects later.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every listed object reliably opens, closes, or toggles on both OSs without crashes.
2. Pop-up tips trigger only once per interaction and vanish on user tap.
3. Navigation feels smooth on an average mid-range device (30 fps target).
4. Final delivery includes compiled builds, project files, and a brief README explaining scene hierarchy and how to replace assets.
If this scope fits your skill set, let’s get started. I am new to this but already know what I want this app to be, I just need someone on the app building side of things
