Project Description
I run a waste-management company and I am ready to digitise the entire workflow—from the moment scrap is booked for pickup at a client’s site to its arrival at the recycling facility. The project calls for a full stack web developer who can produce a single code-base solution that serves both desktop (Windows) and mobile users (iOS and Android).
Core workflow
The software must let my staff and clients schedule pickups, monitor every consignment in real time, and manage client information in one place. Live tracking should show a vehicle’s location, load status and estimated arrival so that both the client and our dispatch team stay informed. A CRM layer is needed for contact histories, pricing tiers, quotation, invoicing, RFQ etc.
Platform expectations
• Desktop web app optimised for Windows workstations in our control room
• Native-like mobile apps for iOS and Android field crews, preferably delivered through React Native, Flutter or a comparable cross-platform framework—open to your recommendation
Back-end & integrations
Although I have no fixed stack in mind, the solution must be built on a modern REST or GraphQL API, use a robust relational database, and be container-ready for cloud deployment (AWS, Azure or GCP). GPS tracking data can come from mobile sensors or third-party telematics; whichever is more reliable, please integrate it.
Deliverables
• Responsive desktop web app
• Companion iOS and Android apps published to TestFlight / Play Console for review
• Secure API with authentication, role-based access and audit logs
• Source code in a private Git repository with clear setup documentation
• One-click deployment scripts (Docker-Compose, Helm charts or similar)
Acceptance criteria
1. Pickup scheduling, tracking/monitoring and client management must be fully functional on all three platforms.
2. Real-time location updates refresh within five seconds.
3. No critical bugs in a two-week pilot run at our facility.
Essential Additional Information
Our team has already developed a prototype using Vibe Coding frameworks, we need to implement similar elements on a cloud platform to build a prototype.
