Project Description
I’m producing a comprehensive Electricity & Magnetism course for engineering and science majors and need a skilled Physics 2 instructor to take charge of the video lessons. The goal is about forty sessions, each 20–30 minutes, in an interactive problem-solving format rather than a straight lecture. Every lesson will concentrate on Circuits while still weaving in the broader E-M principles students must master at university level.
Here’s how I picture the workflow:
• Record and deliver 40 high-quality videos (1080p or better, clear board writing or digital tablet).
• For each video, supply a short set of quiz/practice questions that test conceptual understanding, demand solid quantitative calculations, and push students to connect the math to real-world applications.
• Use any digital blackboard, tablet, or lightboard you’re comfortable with—good audio is essential.
• Everything must be original, clearly explained, and paced so a typical second-semester physics student can follow.
I pay USD 30 per finished, accepted video; that covers the associated quiz content as well. When you apply, please include:
– A brief summary of your teaching or tutoring experience in physics.
– Links or files showing a sample of your recorded instruction (screen capture, whiteboard session, or similar).
– Your current recording setup (software, microphone, tablet/board).
If you thrive on guiding students through each step of a derivation, enjoy fielding “why does that matter?” questions, and can keep the energy up for thirty minutes at a time, I’d love to see your work.
