Project Description
I’m ready to move quickly on a company-wide resilience uplift and need an experienced BCP/DR professional who can take the lead on driving our continuity and recovery programs.
Your core remit will be to design and steer an end-to-end Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery framework, then embed it across the organisation through practical governance, clear playbooks and targeted coaching. While audit knowledge is useful, the real value here is your assurance-and-advisory mindset—someone who can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions and translate strategy into live, test-ready capabilities.
Key activities you’ll jump into immediately:
• Shape and run our BCP and DR programs, aligning to current regulations and industry best practice.
• Facilitate hands-on desktop workshops and scenario exercises focused on business continuity planning, ensuring teams can rehearse decisions under pressure.
• Integrate cyber incident response considerations so recovery and security plans interlock seamlessly.
• Provide practical guidance to owners of critical processes and technology, validating their readiness and recommending improvements.
We are looking for tangible, hands-on experience—someone who has guided organisations through planning, implementation and real-world incidents, not just produced documentation.
Because timing is critical (we want visible progress ASAP), please highlight:
• Similar projects you have led, including scale and outcomes.
• Frameworks, tools or standards you prefer (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, BIA software) and why they work.
• How you approach quick-start gap analysis and rapid stakeholder engagement.
This project will begin the moment we select the right partner, so if you’re confident in your ability to strengthen resilience fast, I’d like to review your proposal and discuss next steps.
