Project Description
I run two separate sites—a freshly built one that holds all my latest articles, blog posts, images and videos, and an older site that still attracts most of my traffic. I’d like every piece of written content and all media from the new build moved over to the older domain exactly as-is; no copy-editing or layout tweaks needed during the migration.
Once the move is complete, I want the legacy site polished. The key goals are a cleaner user-interface, faster load times and a more intuitive navigation structure so visitors can reach posts and galleries in fewer clicks. Whether you streamline CSS and JavaScript, refine caching, or redesign page templates is up to you—I just need the end result to feel modern and perform smoothly on mobile and desktop.
Deliverables
• Full, lossless transfer of all articles, blog entries, images and videos from the new site to the old.
• UI facelift that modernises colours, typography and spacing without changing the brand’s core look.
• Performance optimisation that brings noticeable speed gains on standard tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix.
• Reworked menus and internal links so common sections are reachable within two clicks.
• A short hand-off document outlining changes and how I can maintain them going forward.
If anything in the brief is unclear, let me know and I’ll fill in the gaps so you can quote accurately.
