I need a complete CAD and manufacturing drawing package for a shower water softener/filter product. The product concept already exists as front, side, internal, and exploded-view references. The goal is to convert the concept into a manufacturable design optimized for plastic injection molding and production. The product is a compact shower-mounted water softener/filter system with an internal ion-exchange resin chamber and threaded connections compatible with standard shower fittings. Required deliverables: • Production-ready 3D CAD model • Native CAD files compatible with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar • STEP/STP and IGES export files for manufacturing • Fully detailed 2D manufacturing drawings in PDF • DWG/DXF drawing files • Front, rear, side, top, bottom, exploded, and section views • Internal volume calculation • Wall thickness recommendations and callouts • Thread specifications and tolerances • O-ring sealing details • Draft angle recommendations for injection molding • Basic DFM review for manufacturability • Assembly references for threaded caps, internal screens, seals, and resin chamber Key design requirements: • Manufacturing process: plastic injection molding • Material: ABS, PVC, or similar durable plastic suitable for water applications • Standard 1/2” shower thread compatibility • Compact cylindrical body with threaded top and bottom connections • Internal upper and lower screens for resin containment • Leak-resistant sealing system using O-rings • Smooth transitions and manufacturable geometry • Avoid unnecessary undercuts when possible • Design should be optimized for mold manufacturing and long-term durability • Internal structure must support water flow and resin expansion during regeneration Acceptance criteria: 1. 3D model opens cleanly and exports correctly through STEP/STP. 2. Model includes realistic wall thicknesses and manufacturable geometry. 3. Internal chamber volume is calculated and shown in drawings. 4. Drawings include dimensions, tolerances, thread details, draft angles, radii, and assembly notes. 5. Files are ready to send to mold/tooling suppliers for quotation and DFM review. Preferred freelancer experience: • Plastic product design • Injection molding design • Water filtration or plumbing-related products • CAD for manufacturing • SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Onshape • DFM for plastic parts • Mechanical manufacturing drawings Please include in your proposal: 1.
