Project Description
I need help sourcing quality semi-professional defenders for my football club ahead of the new season. Your task is to handle the full player-recruitment cycle—from researching leagues, academies and recent free agents, to short-listing the best candidates, making initial contact, and coordinating trial dates with our coaching staff.
You should already be comfortable with modern scouting tools and databases (Wyscout, InStat, Transfermarkt, even well-maintained Excel sheets) and know how to evaluate positional awareness, physical metrics, and character references that matter at this level. Strong networking skills within regional semi-pro circuits will be invaluable, and fluency in English for clear reporting is a must.
Deliverables:
• A curated list of at least 10 available semi-pro defenders, each with age, playing history, highlight clips or match links, and verified contact details
• A brief scouting report for every candidate, summarising defensive strengths, weaknesses and fit for a possession-based system
• Confirmation that every player is willing to attend a trial on our proposed dates (I will provide these once the list is near final)
I’ll review the first five names within three days of receipt to give feedback before you finalise the full list. Successful completion may lead to further recruitment projects covering other positions later in the year.
