Project Description
I have a utility-scale solar project in development and I need a thorough PVsyst report focused exclusively on design optimisation. The main goal is to refine the module layout, select and configure the inverters, and quantify shading losses so I can lock in the final site design with confidence.
50MW Grid-tied PV Solar power generation with 15MW/25MWh BESS
You will receive the site coordinates, preliminary single-line diagram, topography, and CAD drawings. Using PVsyst (latest stable version preferred), I’d like you to iterate the design, document assumptions, and present the results clearly enough for bankability review.
Deliverables
• Full PVsyst project files (.PRJ, .PAN, .ONL, etc.)
• PDF report detailing energy yield, module layout rationale, inverter sizing/configuration, and shading analysis with 3D views and loss diagrams
• Short executive summary highlighting optimisation decisions and their impact on kWh/kWp, performance ratio, and LCOE sensitivity
Acceptance criteria: the final layout must respect the provided setback constraints, stay within the DC/AC ratio band I’ll specify once we start, and achieve a minimum performance ratio improvement over the baseline design.
