Project Description
Each surveyor on this assignment will work in the field with three indispensable tools of their own: a laptop for immediate data entry, a bike for fast site-to-site travel, and a smartphone to capture visual proof.
For every ground point (GP) location I provide, measure the straight-line distance to the nearest electric pole and log that figure on the laptop while you are still on site. After measuring, use the same smartphone to record exactly two videos in 720p resolution—one wide 360° sweep that includes the pole and one close-up of the measuring process—and take eight clear, well-lit photos that document the point, the pole, and your tape or laser reading. All videos must be shot on a smartphone, as agreed, and kept in their original quality; no upscaling or heavy compression, please.
Deliverables for each GP:
• Distance reading recorded in the master spreadsheet
• 2 smartphone videos (720p) named to match the GP code
• 8 high-resolution images, also named to match the GP code
Submit the media in organized folders alongside the updated spreadsheet at the end of each surveying day so I can verify coverage and accuracy quickly.
