Project Description
I am finalizing the design of a 1,900 sq ft, three-bedroom, two-bath all-electric container home and now need complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering so the plans are ready for permit submission and construction. The project is located in Phoenix, IL.
Mechanical
– Lay out a duct-free heat-pump mini-split system sized to the envelope and climate zone, including line-sets, condensate routing, and required clearances.
– Design the ventilation and exhaust strategy (kitchen, baths, laundry) to meet code while avoiding additional ductwork in living areas.
– Specify and locate an electric tankless water heater with all supporting details.
Electrical
– Provide an all-electric wiring plan, panel schedule, and load calculations.
– Show PV-ready provisions: dedicated breaker space, conduit paths, and combiner/interconnection notes.
– Include dedicated circuits and hookups for the washer and dryer.
Plumbing
– Produce supply, waste, and vent diagrams sized for simultaneous demand of two bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry.
– Coordinate hot-water distribution from the tankless unit for minimal lag.
Deliverables
• Signed/sealed MEP drawings in PDF and DWG (or equivalent CAD) formats suitable for permit.
• Equipment schedules, calculations, and any code compliance notes required by the local authority.
• Multiple rounds of revisions after initial plan-check comments.
