Project Description
I run an HVAC contracting company and I need a single, streamlined system that will let my team create accurate job estimates and then turn those numbers into client-ready proposals without touching another piece of software. The core has to be web-based so it works from any browser in the office, but I also want companion Android and iOS apps so technicians can quote on-site.
The interface should feel clean and distraction-free—think a minimalist dashboard where users enter job details, pick equipment, and instantly see the price update. From there they should be able to hit “Generate Proposal” and receive a branded PDF or shareable link that pulls in the previously calculated figures, scope of work, and terms.
Key deliverables
• Fully functional web application with matching Android and iOS builds
• Back-end logic that calculates material, labor, markup, and tax to output an itemized estimate
• Proposal generator that reformats the estimate into a polished, client-facing document (PDF + web link)
• Admin area for updating price tables, equipment lists, and branding assets
• Simple, responsive UI that follows minimalist design principles
Please outline your suggested tech stack (for example React or Vue on the front end, Node, Laravel, or similar on the back end, and any cross-platform framework like Flutter or React Native for the mobile apps), estimated timeline, and any past work that shows you can deliver a cross-platform quoting tool. I will provide sample spreadsheets of our current pricing and a folder with our logo and color palette once we kick off.
